Hey there 👋

My name’s Kristy and I’m a Staff Product Designer, currently working at Netlify.

My previous experience includes working with startups and companies in different shapes and sizes, in both in-house as well as agency teams, for 10+ years.

So… you might be asking, what can I offer you?

Most recently, being a multi-disciplinary design leader at Netlify, I can draw from my experience building solutions for various developer tooling and workflows, some of which also meaningfully leveraged AI, and currently I’m supporting building the platform, steering the product vision and shifting to an enterprise GTM strategy.

Before that, I supported the product-led growth business strategy and successfully increased user acquisition, expansion and conversion leading to the milestone of Netlify reaching 1 million developers, by my human-centered design thinking, marketing campaigns and growth experiments.

In my role, I wear a variety of different hats and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in different disciplines, including PMs, Engineers and EMs, Brand and Marketing Designers, PMMs and Technical Writers.

Before that, I was a founding member and design lead of the Design Systems team at Intercom.

I focused on team enablement, product usability, accessibility, increasing efficiency and implementation velocity, resulting in successfully helping teams ship quality product faster and bringing value to Intercom's customers.

Solving Fifty Shades of Blue

Prior moving into the design systems role there, I had a stint where I designed platform features using the JTBD framework, including a robust filtering UI, packaging the app initiative, contributing to a UI refresh of the Inbox and shipped a high-impact brand refresh of the product.
